Elections coming up – look for bio’s in this
weekend’s bulletin and elections will be the weekend of
15/16 of May.
PPC voted on spending $24,000 on a new control panel for
the heating and cooling system.
This covers
updating everything and the company doing this will also be
the ones servicing our heating and cooling
system.
Old
Business:
Todd
Westendorf – New sign will be worked on as soon as Drama is
over. Per Dan
O’Connell the electric sign originally thought about was $10,000
to $15,000, so we are just going with what we have and fixing that
as well as the electric in that.
Matt Stenger
– Mary is up in the back behind the Annex.
Bert Schroth will be working with Father on getting the
plants and grass, etc. put up back there.
Father would like this done by May Crowning.
A parissioner donated the money to do this decorating.
Matt thanked Joe Lengerich, Brian Minning, Gary Ehling and
everyone who assisted in anyway with getting where she is.
New
Business:
Todd
Grandstaff – For anyone who has kid glove tickets, he has a
bunch of Hall of Fame tickets, if anyone is interested in taking
the kids to this before the game, please contact Todd directly to
get these tickets.
Mark
Auferbeck/Gary Ehling –
Gary
has set up a website where anyone in the parish can use for
fundraisers, etc. to purchase items and pay for them with a credit
card. Talked about
using this for sign-ups as well in the future.
There is a fee per transaction, so will be discussed
further by the board to see if this is something we would want to
pursue. It could be
that if our sport fee is $40 and you wish to pay via credit card,
you might be charged $41.00 to cover the fee of the credit card
payment. More
discussion to follow. For
now, if anyone having a fund raiser wishes to untilize this
website, please contact Gary Ehling.
The website is www.saintalsfundraiser.org.
Currently you can purchase your major award tickets this
way. This is a secure
website.
Steve
Bigner – Pilgrim has agreed that we can start parking in their
lot again for events held at St. Al’s.
The only thing they ask is that we call them in advance to
ask if they have anything going on before we just start parking
their. Their office
number is 574-4208. Suggestion
was made to get a monthly calendar from them.
Dave
Bauer – There will be additional parking for the festival
available in the empty spot by Frisches (where Roy Rogers used to
be).
Dave
Bauer – Made a motion for Athletics to purchase 2 Major Award
tickets for this years festival.
Motion was seconded by Mark Aufderbeck and all approved.
Steve
Bigner – asked about the spot under the scoreboard where
Athletics has a sign and if it was OK to replace that with a
sponsor. All agreed it
was OK to remove our sign and allow it to be rented out.
Nomination
for board positions – Dave Bauer & Mike Wills – VP
Gary Ehling – PPC Rep
Dan O’Connell & Bryan Siebenburgen – Sign Trustee
**
Bryan
officially accepted the nomination**
Joe Froehle – GWAC Trustee
Brian Minning – Treasurer*
Missy Stenger – Recording Secretary*
**it
was missed last night, but Treasurer and Secretary are also open,
as they are only 1 year board positions as well.
Missy and Brian have both accepted a nomination to stay on
another year, but if anyone would like either of these rolls, it
can be put to a vote as well in June**
