CHRISTMAS MUSIC PROGRAM

Our sincere “Thanks” to all who joined us for the Christmas Concert. Special “Thanks” to Karen Laib, our Music teacher for her magnanimous efforts – and to the students who shared their talents so beautifully!!!

LABELS! LABELS! LABELS!

Our next "LABEL DRIVE" will be during the month of January! Please start sending your labels into school when we return from break. We collect Campbell's, Tyson A+ Labels and Box Tops, if you have questions please call 347-3374 for Audra. Remember, just send in your labels and have your kids give them to their homeroom teachers - it's that easy. The winning grade will receive a pizza party! PTO thanks you for your support!

OPEN HOUSE

Please plan to join us on Sunday, January 25, 2009 for our Open House. We are making a greater effort to share our wonderful school with the larger public.

CHILDREN'S PRAYER GROUP

All students are welcome to join us for the Children’s Prayer Group that meets every Tuesday morning from 7:15-7:40am

There are 2 drawings per month for $100 each & $25 each from Sept. to April! And one grand prize drawing in May of $1,000! New this year = with every ticket you purchase your child has a chance to win one of 2 $200 end of the year scholarships! Please contact Audra 347-3374 if you have questions or you would like to purchase your tickets early! All proceeds benefit the children of St. Al's and 10% is tithed back to St. Al's Church!

RECYCLING

Total Recycling is BACK
The Comingle program has been restored at St. Al's.  That means that you can put plastic, glass, steel and cardboard in the Rumpke recycling bin along with paper.  The Paper-only recycling dumpster will be removed. Please keep those aluminum cans separated in the specified bin because they bring us cash to help pay for our other recycling efforts.

Ink Cartridges:

St. Al's school is collecting any kind of printer or copy machine ink cartridges/toner. Send your used cartridges to the school or drop off at the church or rectory.

Aluminum Cans:
We are also recycling aluminum cans.  Crushed cans can be placed in the designated dumpster in the back parking lot.

We welcome your participation in these programs.

Kroger Bags:

We are no longer recycling Kroger plastic bags or any other types of plastic bags at school; please take them to Kroger’s.
