Scrip
Program
What is Scrip?
Scrip means “substitute money” – in other words “gift
certificates” (GC). They are the same GC you buy at stores
such as Old Navy, Kohls, Chipotle, Panera and many others.
How is Scrip a fundraiser?
Scrip participating retailers agree to sell GC to our
organization at a discount. You buy them at face value and
redeem them at face value and our school keeps the difference.
Why should I buy Scrip?
By using Scrip for your everyday shopping needs, you are earning
money for our school! GC are available for purchasing food,
clothing, entertainment, gasoline and dining out.
How do I place an order?
The order form
will come home in every Friday packet. It will also be
available on our website. You can place your order two ways:
1.
Send your order
form and payment (check or cash only!) to the school office
c/o Scrip Program (Kathy Hicks). Orders are due by 3:00 PM the
following Thursday.
2.
You may also place your order online at
www.shopwithscrip.com.
Click on the green box that says, “CREATE ACCOUNT.” After
filling in your information, it will ask for an enrollment code
to join a non-profit org., i.e. St. Al’s. Enter this code
exactly, as it is case sensitive:
L6FL3DF727433.
After selecting your scrip and placing your
order, print and send in the form along with your payment
to the above location.
When will I receive my Scrip?
We will
release orders on Fridays and you will receive your scrip by the
following Friday. If your GC are on back order (possible closer
to Christmas) you will be notified and your scrip will be
shipped with our next order.
Do you have any Scrip “in stock?”
We have a limited quantity of Scrip available for immediate
delivery. If we have yours in stock, you will receive it
sooner.
Key to making this successful:
Plan Ahead + Order Scrip = $ for your school!!!
